Chef Kristen Kish travels the earth in lookup of the men and women, locations, culture and traditions at the rear of the world’s most remote dining establishments. From nearby purveyors, farmers and herders to kitchen area crew, supervisors and chefs, she goes behind the scenes to satisfy the folks, listen to the tales, and see the working day-to-working day balancing act essential to retain meals on the table.

The show debuts March 21 on National Geographic with Kish learning the tricks of trek-to-table delicacies at Hacienda Mamecillo and allows the proprietors put together a particular meal for Panama’s major chef, Rolando Chamorro. Other episodes choose her to Norway, Brazil and Maine.
